Lahinch Golf Course has undoubtedly one of the world's great classic links. It has all the ingredients of greatness: a glorious setting, a rich history, superb natural terrain and, where man has 'intervened', it has been through the hand of an outstanding architect. It also has a pair of notorious blind holes, a ruined castle and goats that roam freely on the dunes.
Doonbeg Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman, is a wonderful Links Course that plays along 1.5 miles of beach and dune. The ocean is visible from the green, fairway, or tee of 16 of the 18 holes.

Location
Lahinch a seaside Village located on the north west coast of County Clare on the West Coast of Ireland.
It is a 30-minute drive (20 miles) from Ennis.

From Ennis take the N85.
Follow the signs for Ennistymon.
After 10 minutes you will pass through the village of Inagh, 7 minutes later you will reach Ennistymon, turn Left N67 - signposted Lahinch. 3 minutes later you will arrive at Lahinch.

From Galway, directions to Clarinbridge. From Clarinbridge follow directions to Gort and then onto Ennis. When in Ennis go straight till you come onto a roundabout. Take the last exit and follow signs for Ennistymon, as above.

From Kerry, take the Tarbert Ferry to Kilimer. In Kilimer, follow the N67 to Kilrush and then through Cooraclare, Cree, Quilty, Miltown Malbay - here turn Left for Lahinch.

From Cork, follow signs to Limerick. At the Limerick roundabout follow signs to Ennis. When in Ennis follow directions as above.

From Dublin, head to Kildare. At junction follow sign to Limerick. Pass through Borris in Ossory. At roundabout take 2nd exit into Rosscrea bypass. At roundabout take 3rd exit. At roundabout take 1st exit. Head to Limerick. From Limerick follow signs to Ennis. When in Ennis follow directions as above.
